Plebiotic is a company founded in 2009. As a starting point for its R&D Department, Plebiotic established a collaboration with the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department at the University of Zaragoza (Spain), led by professor Javier Sancho, PhD.
In the meantime, Plebiotic started a new R&D department, located at the University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain), setting up a research collaboration with the Modelling and Virtual Reality group (GMRV), led by Miguel Ángel Otaduy, PhD.
Plebiotic launched in 2012 its first product: a proprietary Molecular Dynamics simulator for mass market – PleMD. Since then, the company is developing new techniques and algorithms to speed up Molecular Dynamics simulations to a new order of applicability as well as creating new products to ease drug design and repositioning (Reverse Docking and Pharmacophores).
We have started as well a portfolio of proprietary compounds. We are working currently on synthetic drugs and functional food for neurodegenerative diseases and lung cancer, with two consortiums. We are actively designing other compounds and creating more consortiums. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
